so, there, can you tell i have never done this before?

Okay, I know I haven't posted much, but that may change soon. Currently, I am in college, and one of the classes I am taking is a Creative Writing Class. Our current assignment until the end of the semester is a short story. When I complete it (and it is graded) I may post it up here if you would like to read it, however, please note that this story is not a fanfic of any kind, it is something I am coming up with on my own. (this feels awkward because I am sitting in the cafeteria at my school typing this...).

The story is based on a post apocalyptic theme, where Earth is now a frozen waste land.  Humanity survives just barely in little towns spread all over the globe although they mostly keep to themselves. The life line of these towns are the caravans, mobile transports that care food and supplies. But where pirates, thieves, and murders run free, danger and death is a lifestyle. However, there is something more dangerous then the freezing temperatures and snow pirates; the snow witches. A pre-war genetically altered human female able to manipulate the elements around her. She is both deadly and fearsome. Many believe that this is just a folk tale. But what happens when a young caravan driver and his team come across a young teenage girl out in the middle of no where...?
